Dowson Primary School had a major problem with reverberated noise in the Hall and Corridor areas, the contractor was tasked with finding a solution at a very reasonable price as the building had just been completed and funds were obviously limited. The building, being of a metal and concrete structure together with use of a hard surface on the floors, created unacceptable amounts of echo and reverberated noise.

After the recommendation of an independent sound engineer Classmate was proposed. Winton Flooring of Prestwich, Manchester carried out the installation and the headteacher, staff and pupils are delighted with the result.

Classmate had the added benefit of being Velcro® friendly eliminating the need for adhesives or drawing pins to attach artwork etc.
